Terms of Sale.

Welcome to Malumi. These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the website malumi.pt, owned by Macalemi, Lda. (NIF PT516440071), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014. 1. Orders

  • To make a purchase, the customer must be at least 18 years old and provide true and complete information.
  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Malumi.
  • After purchase, the customer receives a confirmation email. If not received, please check your spam folder or contact us.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for justified reasons, including pricing errors or suspected fraud.

2. Prices and payment

  • Prices shown include legally applicable taxes and are stated in euros (€).
  • Payment is processed securely at the time of order; production only begins after payment is confirmed.
  • In case of a pricing error on the website, we will contact you before shipment to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

3. Shipping and delivery

Every Malumi piece is handmade, to order. Available destinations, estimated delivery time and shipping cost are shown at checkout, before payment is confirmed.

  • After shipment, the customer receives an email with tracking information.
  • Malumi is not liable for delays caused by external factors such as customs, strikes or force majeure.

4. Right of withdrawal and returns

EU consumers have the right to return a product within 14 days of receipt, without justification (Directive 2011/83/EU and Decree-Law No. 24/2014). Malumi goes beyond this legal minimum, offering a 30-day return window - see the Returns & Refunds page for the full process.

This right does not apply to Private Edition pieces, as they are made to order for each client, except in case of defect or damage.

5. Damaged or defective products

  • If a product arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the product and packaging.
  • In case of a proven defect, we offer replacement or a full refund.

6. Liability

Malumi is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damages. Our liability for any claim related to a purchased product is limited to the amount paid for it.

7. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms of Sale are governed by Portuguese law.

Any dispute will be submitted to the Portuguese courts or, for EU consumers, to the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
